Pat Wagner currently serves as city clerk/customer service representative. Her duties include initiating customer water and sewer accounts, civic center rental, utility billing, serves as court clerk, issues work orders for public service employees and serves as cashier.

Utility Rates

A water deposit of $200.00 is required on all residential accounts.

Water rates for residential customers within the city limits:

          0  -    2,000 gallons  $23.10 
   2,000  -    6,000 gallons   $ 2.64 per thousand gallons
   6,000  -  15,000 gallons   $ 3.85 per thousand gallons
 15,000  -  20,000 gallons   $ 4.40 per thousand gallons 
    Over  -  20,000 gallons   $ 4.68 per thousand gallons

Residential Sewer Rate:
 
Flat rate charge of $20.50

Garbage Collection

The City of Runaway Bay contracts with I.E.S.I. to collect garbage. Collection day is on each Wednesday; must be set out by 7:00 a.m. and weigh no more than fifty (50)pounds per bag or can. Service is initiated with activation of utility service.

Residential garbage collection rate $16.75

Brush curbside pickup the first Monday of each month: $25.00 per pickup load.
